    The thing about Jim Cramer is that he says so much stuff, it's almost inevitable that he is actually right about something.

    Right now (next few months) is a once in a lifetime opportunity to get good companies at great prices.

    uhhh if i have stocks (no singles mutual funds baby) i plan on parking it for WAAAAY more than 5 yrs to get a good return:biggrin_25525:
    5 yrs or less (according to my man dave) are not for the stock market anyway

    You go for it, Ronn. Go for it and man...please don't come to me weeping and wailing. Some people, LIKE you, scare me man. Not an offense to YOU, personally, but people LIKE you. See, the problem is, you are going to "bargain shop," get RIPPED like the rest and then come to me (my taxes) to help you live and THAT pisses me off. See what I mean? You can be an optimist, I hold not that against you, but PLEASE pitch a tent when you lose and DON'T come to us to feed you is ALL I ask.

    Ronn, the foundation of our current economics is built on shifting sand and ANYONE should know this, yet they don't and rock on. This disturbs me, man. I am SICK of the ignorance and false security of americans...the time to pay has come. Go bargain shopping and watch that CEO walk off with millions while you are driving the stakes in for your new home...

    It's comments like this that make investing so easy. The sky is falling, the sky is falling. Guess what? the sky is in fact, not falling.

    There are many companies that have no relation to the mortgage crisis, have tons of money on their books, but are getting sold down with everything else.
