HO Wolding will give you a bad mechanical truck when you become a certified driver. All/most of the trainer trucks continually break down. If you are a new driver avoid this small po--- company like the plague. You can't make any money if your truck is in the shop 3 or 4 times a month. Why don't they have newer trucks? Because some idiot 6 months ago sat in Las Vegas for two days gambling and not getting any sleep and then decides to drive. Big mistake. Idiot is in jail for falling asleep at the wheel and killing 3 people in Utah. Does it make a difference for a small company with 350 trucks (half are old junkers with 800 thousand to 1 million miles)? Yes! They cancelled their order for 60 new trucks and only decided on 20 with small sleeper cabs. Their training department sucks. Only about 1/2 the people that go there which pass their driving test actually stay and finish the training. They are totally disorganized and don't have a clue when you are going to get a trainer. I would expect this from a large not small so called personal company. Their bunkhouse is exactly that. 4 people to a room and you can't get any sleep because the TV is always blasting loud all night long.

ohhhhh i concur whole heartedly i went to h.o. as a student about 8 years ago. i went through there bs training program and thier stupid bunkhouse. Stayed there for like 3 weeks and was then asked to leave because i could not back in a serpentine method....anyways i have gone on to have a long relatively illustrious career in trucking. And in spite of thier reccomendation that this career may not be right for me i now have earned over 60k evrey year for the past 4 years.
so do yourself a favor and avoid these guys like the plague. -
I've never been asked to do that. Could be worse. They could have asked you to try that with a set of doubles.

I'm wracking my brain, and wondering under what actual circumstance, would it be necessary to know HOW to back a tractor/trailer in such a manner....
Maybe I just haven't been in the right place at the right time...
