well heres another complaint about CRST!!.. i did their company sponsored training back in june-july this year. completed my 28 days out. and from there it was horrible. i had a temporary co-drive that was a complete nightmare, and my second co-driver threatend me like the second day we were out. i have the 8 month contract going on with CRST so eveyone and their uncle is scared to hire me for fear of being sued by CRST for hiring a contract driver. the last run i did,, i was literally starving with absolutely no money in my pocket. i need a new company to work for that pays more then .22cpm and will take me with my limited experiance.
    thanks fellow drivers..

i have ben aproved for the company paid training, but from all the things i heard about crst i am really thinking twice about them.I even read where one driver is only making 11cpm because they are taking his other 11cpm and applying it to is school.that is about 250 or 300 dollars a week but you will drive about 4000-6000 miles in one week. And i heard the trucks are junk.please tell me all i should know about them good and bad

and what i found oyt today is that CRST put me in their "per diem" program. supposidly the computer system does it automaticaly. but what happens is i am making .22cpm.. they take .12 cents for whatever and give me .10 cents thats non-taxable... i was doing the math and i am missing like give or take, $100 each pay week!!!! but i have Been working on looking into other companys that are willing to hire me.. so far only Melton will take me as of the 28th of this month. its solo and starts at .35cpm... but they said for me to go out and do one more 3 week run with CRST to further my experiance... thanks for the tips Brickman..

22 Cpm = you can't make it on that.
35 Cpm = very good for a starter -actually it's excellent

=jump ship as soon as possible. At 22cpm CRST is the new low and worse than Weiner at 26cpm.

The Trucks are junk at CRST if,
A: You and your co-driver don't take care of them
B: You let the Idiots at the Shop work on them (Personally, I would rather nurse the problem til I get far away from a terminal and let the Freightliner Dealer work on it)

The Per Diem thing is easy, call your Dispatcher and tell them you want to opt out.
The .22 a mile is bad with split miles if you aren't getting the miles. If you are running 6000-7000 a week, you will do OK once your deductions are paid back. Technically, you can figure you make .22 for half the miles or .11 for all of them.

But, if Melton will hire you, go for it......
