hello I'd like to find out a few questions about hotshotting
1. Can you tell a company your only wanting to deliver to certain areas ?
2. How many miles a month are you putting on your truck ?
3. How many miles a year are you putting on your truck on average ?
Anything else you'd like to add
New to the whole hotshot

When I had my hotshot I had a dedicated customer I hauled for hauling their materials and finished product. I put a little over 100,000 miles on that truck in 15 months. My other truck with a driver did the same miles in a year. Mine was a great deal because I was running under my own authority with my own customers. If you're going to lease on with someone they're going to always have a hand in your pocket plus the broker keeps a part for himself too. I enjoyed it but hated the constant inspections. Cops love hotshots because they don't have to crawl around on the ground looking for things to find wrong. I started with an older ford f350 but hurried up and bought a newer one due to things breaking all the time. If you can buy a biger truck, a single axle small sleeper truck will always be cheaper to buy, last for #### near forever, have air brakes to keep you out of trouble, and won't have to work hard to keep up with traffic, can get really good fuel mileage do to the fact that they're not loaded heavy. Did I mention that they're cheap?

Not sure where you guys are running where you're having problems with inspections? We run a lot of trucks all over the Western US, and have hauled plenty in the Midwest, and Southeast and haven't any problems to speak of for the last 14 years running just the Hotshots. Didn't have any problems running semi trucks prior to that either. Sure we get inspected occasionally but we always pass inspection. And we are in no way being targeted or singled out because of the type of equipment we run here.

Houston and the surrounding areas love hotshots. I need to find that old picture of my truck before I replaced the windshield, had dot stickers down the windshield and a bunch of them on the trailer. I passed but it's a pain in the butt to be inspected 4 or 5 times a month.
