Does anyone know if Mclane foodservice will hire someone with felony that just 2 years ago?
I went to interview everything went fine, got job offer right on the spot but we didn't discuss about my background at all. in my state Wisconsin is not allowed to discuss background regards to convictions, arrests...
It's a white collar crime, wire fraud.
Any advise is appreciated.

but do you know if they hire people with fresh convictions ? -
I think only if it's older than 7 yrs.

It is against my state law to refuse someone because of conviction, unless its substantial related to the job. -

No dis, but if it doesn't work out, try Carolina Cargo. That's pretty cool about the WI law, hope it works in your favor~!

I got "hired" for my current job after answering some telephone questions. I thought I was already an employee. They even paid for me to come to their orientation in a different state. I was still worried about my criminal background and also my self-employment verification. When I arrived and attended 8 days of orientation I was interviewed and then asked why I committed those crimes (minor stuff from decades earlier) I answered truthfully. And after 8 days of tests and interviews I was assigned a trainer. 3 weeks later I got a truck and a real paycheck. Others in orientation were sent home during those days. Nobody was really hired yet. Lying about anything they already know was a serious thing. Also there was a guy who didn't disclose a moving violation. He was sent home a week after coming to company. All of us thought we were already hired. Orientation is more like a long job interview. Not sure if your situation is the same. Good luck. Be honest if asked.

My situation is there isnt a question on Application wether I have convicted of any crime, because ban the box law. During my interview they did not ask, I did not tell them then they offered me a job, so I fill out the paperwork for background check, on those paper don't have any questions like if I convicted any crime. Then my state is one of the 5 states that included conviction as protected class in equal opportunity employment, basically the law says employer can't refuse or terminate anyone because applicants conviction unless it's substantially related to the job which my conviction is white collar crime has nothing to do with driving/trucking, so I don't know what's gonna happen now. Did you work for Mclane ?
