He said net....show all of your truck overhead.

I mean 100% of us do that when we deduct a lease payment, with only insurance and fuel deductions. If I had came before the new requirements, I could buy a 2003 Columbia for $17k and easily do that too.

I still could buy a 2010 and newer POS and bring it on, but I'm almost done with trucking...and I'm definitely done with Schneider.

    48Packard Thanks this.

Not bad at all. Assuming you didn't have to run your ### off doing something stupid like 3k miles.

You can do that too, save up, pay cash for a truck, and learn how to work on it. Find a company that makes you happy and you will have the same pay check.

That's really really sad. Food for thought, a good company driver position pays 65k a year minimum. That breaks out to just over $5416 per month.

Yep. I've owned brand new and I've owned 30 year old junk. Guess what? Not a single customer offered to pay a penny more once i bought a brand new truck.

scythe08, CJndaTruck, sealevel and 2 others Thank this.
