Trucking Jobs in 30 seconds
Every month 400 people find a job with the help of TruckersReport.

Im not entirely sure but i believe that would be illegal. I know a person needs to have full function with all 4 limbs to get a CDL.
Not saying it cant be done but i wouldnt risk it unless i absolutely had to -

Don't do it.
That cast is in there for a reason. You cannot be limited in your body range of motion and function. For example a three point contact getting into and out of the tractor. You must have all 4 limbs in good working order.
You will find that cast to be a house of pain you don't want on bad roads.
Finally you have this to consider, you need a SPE. A skill performance evaluation for missing or impaired OR even prosthetic limbs)

Yup. Take the performance evaluation and get the waiver, or don't drive. That's the "legal" answer. As we all know, life happens, and if you've got bills to pay and can't sit for 6-8 weeks, well, "don't get caught".

I was docked next to a driver with one arm. Guess he passed the evaluation. Bet he was driving an automatic.
