What exactly do you mean? How long to you have to take your road test after getting your permit? How long to get your license after your road test? How long do you have to find a job after getting your license to still be considered as having experience? Please word the question properly so we can help.
Also what state are you in? Different states may have different laws -
I thought the OP was asking how long from getting your CDL permit until your permit expires if you haven't already gotten a CDL.
-
I know on Colorado you have to wait I thinks it's 14 days from when you get your permit until you are allowed to take your road test. That was what I thought he was asking.
-
If thats the case i think its 14 days everywhere. Thats how long you need to wait in both Massachusetts and Connecticut
-
If its how long you have until it expires that would be 6 months but you can renew it once without taking another test. You just have to pay for it again.
Again this is MA and CT. Probably the same nation wide
