That's a lot to go to trucking school I thought 4k was a lot a few years back. Wow so you figure you have to pay $200 a week to be done with them in a year. Is the agreement you work for them for a year and they forgive the loan amount. I would like to know the arrangement.

    JJRigger Thanks this.

lt sounds like the OP is thinking of getting CDL through Schneider. Rather than take out a loan for school.

That's nuts there's much better deals out there. Going somewhere and staying in a hotel is better than that

Yes sorry. I am thinking of taking the Schneider deal. Or I was gonna take out the loan. I was just wondering if anyone has done the Schneider deal before. Anywhere in Canada for a 6-9 week transport trucking program with a private college its roughly 8-10 thousand dollars.

    rward75 Thanks this.

Go with the Schneider deal or something like it. 10k is a lot to owe if it turns out you don't like driving. Besides that starting a new job with a new bill would suck.

Sorry I don't know much about Canada but in the US there's a couple carriers who train and u work it off basically but it seems like u need to be a state resident of wherever it is
