Just in case Roehl doesn't hire me I'm looking for backup companies as close as possible to me. I live in the Philadelphia suburbs about 50 mins north close to 309 near Quakertown.
What other companies aka "cdl mills" having training locations near me? Philly area or even Allentown/Bethlehem area?
Looking for companies close to my area Philly burbs

Don't go the 'cdl mill' route. Get your training through a community college program. Much cheaper, much BETTER training, and you're not stuck working for slave wages for a year.
I speak from experience.
After 18 months OTR, I landed a local / regional job in the Scranton market that paid around $60K the first year. Just completed my 3rd year with this company and I'm on track for six figures this year. Home by 3pm every night but one (my choice), and weekend work only when I want it.
You can do better than a CDL mill.
My company has an Allentown division. They don't train, and they hire drivers with clean MVRs and one year of CDL-A experience. -
HELLBlLLY Thanks this.

If Roehl doesn't take you, try Conract Freighters Inc. (www.cfidrive.com)
They sometimes pay for private cdl school. They run 48 states and it's dry van. -
Well, they're not local to us but I start with Jim Palmer on Monday and I'm just south of you on 309 in Colmar.
(I can see Goomba's out of my living room window)1278PA Thanks this. -

I'm also constantly seeing trucks for the North Montco Technical Career Center going up and down 309. They're based in Lansdale. Lehigh Carbon Counties Community College also offers CDL training.

I still can't believe I'm one of "The Chosen" lol -

I understand. Prime has a terminal up in Pittston, just south of Scranton. If you hop on the NE extension you can be there in 75-90 minutes. Depending on your situation that could mean home every night of orientation. I know Palmer's training is based off of Prime's and our orientation is only 4 days, then on the truck. Not sure if Prime is the same way so being able to go home every night of orientation may or may not be a big deal for you.
Also, did you confirm with Roehl that the Bensalem location is in fact a training facility? It seems to go back and forth on here whether or not it's just a drop yard or if they also train there.
