    I hope not. Law enforcement has them mounted next to them while riding around. Most use them while driving to run tags.

    You know as well as I do that just because law enforcement has or does something doesn't mean that we Joe Sixpack's can do the same. You and I can't speed, but I've seen police officers flying down the road hundreds of times (even if they're not responding to a call).
