I use the fm interupter or direct connect for my sirius, wouldnt have it any other way. I never have to change my fm channel and never get any interferance. Now without the direct connect I would have to change my channels everytime I got into a larger city, usually like 5-10 times a day and was especially bad in chicago. An I just use the small antenna that comes with the radio and have it double side taped to my passenger mirror on top of the plastic by the antenna, havent lost reception yet.

I've tried using modulators for my IPAQ & have tried running my XM via radio frequency & it's a hassle if you drive any distance. Traveling in & out of towns you're almost always looking for a clean channel. As for CB's I never had any problem with that.
Direct connect or using the Sirius direct connect adaptor the is the only way if you don't want the hassle.
