That is what TGarrie383 is complaining about now they are going to make the medical providers pay back all monies paid on the bills.
I think the insurance company is thinking the same way as I am ie. pre-existing condition.
P.s. I would love to know the outcome of this case TGarrie383 has going.

I can assure you, it's not gonna come out well.

Cobra can be denied in the case of gross misconduct. However, the cobra rules do not define this. It allows the company to make that determination.
As far as the retro of the insurance. I would tend to believe there is something here. If you have insurance one month and are covered then all is usually okay. Without knowing the whole story, I would be skeptical on this issue.
Insurance companies and the employer would be ill advised to try something like this without the proper documentation.
Either something in the issue of the seizure has led the company to believe that there was an issue prior to hiring or they are blatantly being fools.
If you feel you have been wronged, at this point, contact an attorney and proceed.TGarrie383 Thanks this. -
I have an attorney and he said the insurance company has the right to do what they did but they went about it the wrong way. The seizure was not a prior issue that part has been proven by my doctor but I cant really say too much more about that part of the problem. But I understand what you are talking about I would see it the same way and I will tell the full story soon I just cant say everything at this time.

Where do you work Lone Ranger? Or are you un-employed due to JB terminating you.
