I am going to guess you didn't see these all over the parking lot and at all the entrances? Always read the signs, there is a City Ordnance clearly posted that states you should not be there, a picture, and even a tow truck towing a car.

Walmart should sell "parking permits". Maybe $200/yr. you get a sticker and a list of authorized store locations across the nation, and limit all parking to between the hours of 20:00 and 08:00.

I think that's awesome WalMart is giving boots away. It's nice to see them give back to the community. I wish I was in the area, my boots are falling apart.

That pic says cargo vans and car towing. Doesn't depict semi's. LOL.

There's a walmart in Calexico you're not allowed to park in either. I think that was the town. One of them border towns anyways. I had to park around the corner and walk back to the store. JUST TO BUY SOME PRINTER INK to print my logs. I don't beleive there were any signs there either. It wasn't even fenced.

If walmart was smart, they'd run a shuttle van from their stores to the truckstops in major metro areas.

I don't sleep or take breaks at walmart, but I do restock my groceries there. I know the select few that I can get away with parking at for 30 minutes or so. It sure would be convenient though just to hop a shuttle and leave the truck at the truck stop.

Not bad idea but the hrs. Usually if I'm looking at a Walmart to park it 2/3am. Or alternatively they require you to buy something and put the receipt on the windshield or something.

I'm waiting for the next mega-super sized Walmart Truckstop. Truck fuel island and driver area, showers, etc. Spend $50 at the Super Center, get a shower free. With their buying power, they could rival any of the budget chains for fuel prices.

Walmart may not be a truck stop but they should fence it in and call it a zoo.
