Truck out the shop and I got on down the road. Here in Ohio for my 10. On the PPG run.
Anybody know if I can drop and hook in Aurora?

 

It'll be a live unload. You can park in their driveway either on the way in or way out though....

 

I ended up shopping at a nearby Walmart and asking permission to be there for 5 hours. They were ok with it but told me a police patrol might ask me to move.
At the Maines location the other drivers told me we could park on the side of the road opposite the facility but just make sure no driveways are blocked and they haven't seen anyone ticketed despite the no parking signs.

 

I was looking for washout place yesterday and came across this spreadsheet with lots of them. But check with them before going because I am not sure how old this is.

When I worked at Decker we had an info binder and they included a list of washout locations. It came in handy especially out West.

 

Just curious, why did you leave Decker? Before I gave up my flatbed dream, I had considered working on their flatbed division.

 

The best money I spent was a one time $9 payment for the Alstays app, it's kept me good with parking washouts and truckstops so far...pretty much my go to app for trip planning.

 

The truckerpath app has truckwashes and washouts as well. May not be as accurate...but it's free for us cheapskates...

 

Was doing their lease purchase on the reefer side. Had an older truck and didn't know better. Was getting good miles. Flatbed side is not bad.

 

Well don't have deliver in Aurora until tomorrow night....made me upset...guess I'll go home and sit some more. Too much sitting and my mind starts going crazy.
