If you aren't a loner, you will become one.
You'll come to despise being around any group
Of 5 people or more.
That's why truckers always seem angry and pissed off.
You only see them when they're around other people.
They're happiest in their truck away from the real world.
"Loners" in trucking?

I don't think it's necessarily being a loner, it's more of being comfortable with yourself.
If you don't really like yourself or with who you are, being in a truck pretty much by yourself for 12 to 24 hours a day can be rather illuminating. Many times, not in a good way.
I think a lot of newbies find this out the hard way, and honestly a lot of 20 year olds really aren't comfortable in their own skin. They are unsure of who they are, and driving (and being in) a truck for long periods of time gives one too much time to think.Dan.S, Big Don, 1278PA and 1 other person Thank this. -
Well, ask yourself this, would you rather be in a cabin in the woods with the animals, or in a downtown area?
If you say the cabin, you'll probably do fine. A massive music collection doesn't hurt either. That or get a dog to roll with you, mine goes everywhere I go. -
Obviously plural of moose. Lol.KillingTime, noluck and G13Tomcat Thank this. -
My wife and Moved to the countryside 5 years ago. We both grew up in towns and she swore there was no way she could survive the country. The other day she told me, there is no way we are ever moving back to any community, she's a country girl now. Lol. That being said, being by yourself for extended periods of time does lead to a lot of self reflection that can be painful at times. It also can help you figure out who you truely are and what you want to make of your life. I know these times have helped shape who I am today (hopefully for the better).Dan.S, Big Don, Cornbinder_King and 1 other person Thank this. -
I have good laughs with the dispatchers at the office when they tell me all the antisocial #### some drivers do. -

Big Don said: ↑Of course it is. Now if it were the plural of a mouse, it would be meeses! (I dun learnt that from one of them edukational TV shows. A Mr. Jinks as it were...)Click to expand...
The plural of goose is geese so the plural of moose has to be meese. Solid logic driver.
