Truckers should pay for roads

The government is an insatiable thief with both hands in the public's pockets. And the more they get to play us against each other the better they score. Don't you see we are both the fleeced working class for the gov. ?

They already tax the fuel (& gas) and the cheaper to make Diesel (chemical combo not needing a refinery) has bumped up from being one dollar cheaper than gas to one dollar more expensive. We are already paying for road/bridge repair, what do they do with all that money ? Somebody show me, I say Embezzlement. How much do you bet the industry will pass that bill right along to the Professional Drivers ?

Far as who pays more in fuel taxes ? Easy - Diesel Users. The average car gets what 15gal. to fill tank vs. the average truck 180gal., but the average truck refills every 2 days, the average car once every 6 days. Then you have trains, boats & ships running on diesel. So diesel is consumed at 30x more then gas if not more.
