That's sounds like how I ended up leaving LS. My second truck had lots of warranty repairs. Then the emissions box went bad. That was out of warranty and it was $12,000 to repair plus all the other repairs I paid myself. No more money and couldn't repair the truck.

 

Wow! That's pretty much the way things are for me right now. I'm sorry that happened to you. I think I'm going to save up and pay cash for a pre-DEF/DPF truck later this year.

 

I'm in orientation in at the homeless shelter Florida today. I'll be driving a friend's truck until I'm ready to buy another.

 

How's orientation going? Where your first load going?

 

Orientation was good. There was a lot of information covered in 2 days so I'll definitely go back and read the materials they passed out and play around with the load board. I'll get my Qualcomm installed tomorrow and try to get a trailer as soon as I'm cleared to do so.

 

Keep us informed depending on what happens with elogs i may go the same route... Good luck, let us know how everything is going!!

 

Do ALL trucks get elogs? Even if truck is under a 2000 yr

 

I'm not sure about the Pre-2000 trucks, you may be able to run paper logs. I'll ask my BCO advisor tomorrow.

Everyone leasing on there goes on elogs. Doesn't matter if you have 99 or older. It'll be on elogs or they won't lease you on.
