From Kevin Knight himself he also announces he's becoming the president of Swift for the near-term...

 

There is a simple explanation for the profit difference imo. Knight isn't a training company when I worked for them experienced only, Swift has been one of the main training companies. Then after the whole training system is over is where I think the real hit comes from the fresh rookies. Daily I receive fleet/terminal messages stating something like "Yesterday we had 3 accidents....". Just people applying for a job they cannot do properly or just plain massive rookie mistakes. Maybe Swift should have just dropped the training academy.

Then it goes on, 4 days for a simple oil change because it can only be done at a terminal in a long line of trucks. So many things...

 

It's seldom that someone waits 4 days for a b service. I never have, no matter the terminal - in over 6 years here.

And there have to be training companies.
If no company is willing to take on the role, there would be few new drivers. And new drivers are more prone to making mistakes.
You can't have your cake and eat it too.

As to the previous video with Kevin Knight...
He gives me the creeps.
I got 13 minutes into the video and I had enough of his upbeat double talk, and the subtle cuts in the narrative. It was just too much like most of the videos we are sent over the QC.

Sorry, but none of these upper management people ever seem to be talking to an intelligent and mature person.
They talk as though we are 9 year old children, just wanting to hear something sweet and nice and hoping for another spoonful of honey.

 

I watch part of the video tape before I posted it and I've never seen anybody blow smoke up somebody's behind as much as he did in that video then again and nothing surprises me because frankly I know from experience from working for them that they're a bunch of crooks

 

You have been lucky then, it's not just about being a training company but the rookies it doesn't train well at all.

 

I like watching the lady interviewing when she asks each question as if she already knows he is about to blow out some more bs. That uh huh nod.

 

But they are the same, nothing is changing (/endsarcasm)

 

I like Twink Fight better if we're scrambling letters or Fight Twink as another poster here said somewhere.

 

Maybe the Swift and Knight forums should merge too.
