I-40 Knoxville to Asheville IS A MESS

    Hey Guys a little heads up for all you guys going to and from Knoxville TN to Asheville NC and between, the geniuses at NC DOT thought it would be smart to work on the interstate doing several different projects at once. So for 20 miles heading into Asheville NC from TN border you will sit and sit and sit and sit because it is down to one lane for 20 miles. Yesterday I burned almost a 1/4 tank of gas sitting in traffic for over 1 1/2 hours. This construction will be from now until around May 12 or 13 so if ya'll know of alternative routes maybe consider them. Just some FYI guys

    Maybe his pickup truck burns gasoline? Mine does, and it will pull anything a diesel pickup will pull.

    I'm bad about saying gas pedal instead of throttle or accelerator or go fast thingy, no matter what kind of motor is in the truck

    I've always said if a girl wants to ride on the back of my motorcycle, she can't be large enough to adversely affect the performance and handling of the bike. If she can't ride on my bike, she won't ride in my truck. That's all moot now, though, because I'm married to a girl who isn't noticeable on the back of my bike...she barely weighs more than my dog. She's the only girl I roll around with in my truck.
