Who told you it was nothing? If that is in the past three years, it is definitely something.

werner enterprises.the speeding ticket is just considered 1 moving violation and the accident is considered a preventable accident and alot of companies have a limit on how many you can have before they consider hiring you.some companies like cr england have a limit of 2 -3 preventable accidents and 3 moving violations in the last 3 years

Dang! I would have thought a ticket for 25 over would have been a serious problem, just based on some of the posts I've read in other threads about the same topic.

So how did the written test for the permit go? Keep us posted on how things progress for you. Not only do we like to hear about it, but your tales will help other new and looking to become truck drivers.

Sure... Weiner could care less if you ran over a whole school bus full of children while simultaneously pistol whipping an old lady in a wheechair.

    Here's the deal...

    1. They'll bring you on board for the "Company Sponsored Training"

    2. You sign your life away, to agree to repay them for the training'training which costs way too much money.

    3. After you finish your training, you'll be sent home to "wait for a trainer".

    4. A couple of months later, if you haven't already told them to go to hell, those tickets will all of a sudden be a big deal. Sorry, no job for you... goes on your DAC as a termination.

    5. You'll enjoy the privlege of paying for training for a job which you never performed. That, or it'll be on your credit report as a delinquency.

    Git it?
    Got it?
    Good!:biggrin_25525:

those tickets and accident must be 1 year or older.

The accident alone will Dq you from being ewmployed by werner if it has been less than 12 months.

the speeding will probaly get you shown the door too.

25 mph over the posted speed limit could be considered reckless driving.

Those tests are pretty easy. If you had an easy time passing the written test for your regular license, this will be about the same. You passed the air brakes, and the rest of it is similar. Brush up over the weekend, and don't sweat it!

yeah, none of it is very difficult, and (in my opinion) you've already passed the most "Difficult" portion. Just study over the weekend and you should do fine
