Well here I rest at the Coon Rapids yard...I think I saw one of y'all staring me down .
Dropped off a Fridley load here and picked up my last Ashley load going out to York, PA.

Gonna stop by the house again on this trip, my mom's birthday is Sunday.

I knew something was going on because the peoplenet was to quiet.

 

Might have been me...I think I stopped beside you at the rest area after the MN scale. You were having a conversation on your headset so I didn't interrupt.

I heard an un-official cause for Ashley's abrupt departure. The rumored reason was a driver was late with a Jennnie-O load that was being exported...the load missed the boat...literally. If it's true, I am not sure how management can hold her fully responsible for it. I mean, with the shear number of noobie drivers learning the ropes here, late loads are gonna happen...I guess the one possible fault they could stick her with is not giving a load like that to an unproven driver...I feel sorry for ya'll anyway...I only have to deal with whomever is filling in for

 

Yea that was me. Ouch!!!! That's not good.

 

I say we all protest Ashley's departure. If she isn't back by next Friday, I say we all just leave. I'll go first, anyone else with me?

I dunno... seems like a bad reason to get rid of a great person. Yeah maybe it was a big deal, but overall, at least from my perspective, she did an awesome job. Mistakes happen. That can't be the reason.

It looks like the worm apocalypse here in CR. I'm guessing they have had their fair share of rain and the worms are fleeing for higher ground. Went to get breakfast and it's tough to walk across the parking lots and not step on a gazillion worms.(maybe it's bazillion, I'll have to check with my 7 yr old granddaughter) It's a fisherman's dream.

 

Another thing we could do is all email Chad so he gets in to several emails. Nothin mean, just a, "hey why is Ashley gone?" And see if he doesn't respond.

 

Lost the marker lights on my trailer today. Check the fuses one of the trailer fuses was blown. Replaced it all my marker lights except the red ones on both sides came back. Was some how thinking the were wired together. Put my Air Force training to work pulled out the trusty old tester light. Passenger side I found wiring corroded coming out of the plug so I pulled out my wire and trusty soldering iron out and rewired it.
Drivers side found the bulb burnt out. $22 for a replacement bulb. I didn't these LED bulbs burned out that's what had me a bit confused for a while.
1:52 left on my 70 will squeeze in a 34.
