    'Preciate ya, driverrr.

For those who don't know, Wingman is another brand of driver-nanny system like the aforementioned OnGuard.

I think Werner uses those, because it seems like every so often I'll pass a Werner truck and they'll jump into the left lane immediately after I come back over. I don't cut them off by any means, but I think they're trying to prevent the auto-braking from activating.

They may get installed for free but that's covered in the monitoring fees. The people putting the cameras in are in business to make money.

Do they save on insurance? I have seen anything yet to show they do. While they can save you if you've done nothing wrong they can just as easily crucify you. A good lawyer in a case with fatalities could find an expert to show that you did something wrong.

Again, I don't know how they affect insurance but there has to be a reason Swift dropped the driver facing cam and you can be sure financial considerations were part of that decision.

Midwest Motor Express does not run driver facing camera's in their trucks. They have a terminal here in Henderson, CO.

I'm at FedEx ground and have a driver facing camera but haven't gotten in trouble yet and it's "recording" non stop in metro areas lol I also have been told by my boss he doesn't care what I do as long as I don't wreck the truck...as of right now me and the team driver have been recorded while doing some.... questionable things and we haven't been talked to once about it we even just got a bonus for running hard

Think Homeland Security started these fleet vehicle live feed surveillances when the new hailstorm system was brought online; that is an upgraded stingray II system. Even FMCSA section 5301 was quickly passed without any public opinion. Your 4th amendment rights to any privacy was addressed by former FBI director Comey at Boston Technology University in a recruitment speech. He said U.S. citizens have no right to privacy. All firearms should be restricted to the socioeconomically wealthy.

As regards FedEx Freight: Wrong. FXF has dashcams, NOT drivercams. If they ever introduce them, I'm gone on the spot.

I don't think I've seen a FXF truck with one of those yet. I have seen the ones they have that face outward though.

nope I am NOT wrong. My friend that works at the one here in Denver showed me his and it's built into the qualcomm e-log panel on the dash and looks right at him while he drives.
