    Gary Monatrieva Akins, 20, 310 Old Omega Road, Lot H-8, was charged Sunday with battery (family violence).

    Toney Wayne Angle Jr., 18, 403 Chesnutt Ave., was charged Friday with reckless driving, driving with a suspended license, failure to stop or return to the scene of an accident and driving with a suspended license.

    Well they're probably gonna add vehicular manslaughter/homicide charges to his rap sheet now. It doesn't help the fact that the driver's father wasn't buckled up like he should've been.

    It is a very unfortunate incident however if the driver is only guilty of failing to stop for stop sign which caused the collision that may well be the only thing he can be charged with regardless of fatalities. It was a accident which the driver must live with.

    Depends on the jurisdiction and the laws applicable.Usually if there's an accident and it results in a fatality manslaughter/homicide charges can be added on if it's proven that negligence resulted in said fatality.

    The 72 year old man in the truck he hit is in an induced coma to aid in recovering from his injuries which include all ribs broken on one side and a brain bleed.
