Rush Trucking Anyone?

Ahh yes Moceri in Eastern Market- did you have to go to the big street-level unloading area (down off the main drag)? Did you have to tailgate your pallets? I love seeing the guys on forklifts running around at breakneck speeds, trying not to get run over!

 

We hauled into there for so long we were well known. My dad had hauled into there for years and years before I started and I hauled into there 9 months out of the year pulling Iced collard greens. The other 3 months I would be there periodicly but not all the time as I was running the coast and not the southern greens. Everyone wold get so mad because I would pull in there at midnight while they were all on the street parked waiting or them to open but I already knew what door I needed since they only took the greens in the first door so I wheeled right into the dock, went to bed, at 4am George knocked on the door, I handed him my bills, he got the lumper and woke me up when it was done. I paid $90 for 1300 boxes of iced greens, bet they are a few hundred by now.

 

Does anyone have any current news about Rush Trucking out of Detroit?
