I work for them now and it’s tough trying to lease a truck and bring home a decent paycheck. Very high turnover. I’m into it pretty deep now with a lot of money invested in my truck. You need to know when to call it quits before you drive yourself nuts. They have a poor safety score and they have us on elogs. I’ll be leaving them soon.

Overweight again at Iowa cold Storage. My last time here. They don’t reimburse you for your time and the bills say one weight and I know what my truck and trailer weigh full of fuel. Basically 6000lbs of free weight they want me to haul for free. If I find out from other drivers they’re doing the same thing with them,DOT could get a call

When they want you to go in with only half full of fuel so you won’t be over gross. So who would you blame?

Thats part of trucking. Lol. Some times you cant have a full tank to be legal. When i was with my old company and i had to pick up beer loads they told us to only have half tank. Not that big of a deal . Yes it is easier to have full tank. But again its not ics fault that the load is heavy
