Had a 10pm delivery last night to a refrigerated warehouse in Indy. (No, not that refrigerated warehouse in Indy. I was at the other one.) Ended up sleeping there on the yard. Got up this morning and decided a change of venue was in order. Currently at my favorite sketchy truck stop, the one off Exit 4 on the south side of Indy, across the street from the fleabag Motel 6 and the Indian restaurant. I have showered, ####, and shaved, and waiting for them to decide to send me to Groveport with this empty reefer.

I was close! Right company, wrong location. They're sending me and this empty reefer to Boar's Head in Forrest City, AR.

C.O.P. Headed to Sumner Washington for 5am Monday. The previous load was taken off of me because it had too much time in it.

My next trucking job, if I ever have another, won't involve reefers. It just won't.
The last 3 days pulling the noisy infernal things are making McDonald's pay look enticing. I'm thinking i would be perfect for the drive thru as I already know I look fetching in a headset.
Only McDonald's deal breaker would be if I have to deal with freight brokers. Not doing that either no matter how many free meals I get.JohnBoy and ExtremeUnction Thank this. -
mcdonalds lol. the sad part is they are demanding $15 per hour and dont deserve it. any one of us has more skills then any of them including the "manager"

$15 per hour??. I was figuring on only $10 when doing the pay comparison. This week just got worse.
