It depends on the length of lease and truck. I had a 5 year lease with $30,000 residual on a Kenworth T-700.

That makes no sense. Not trying to compare flat to van rates but traditionally when flat rates and volume increase, van shortly follows. You guys should be seeing increases in volume and rates of 30% of what you were seeing in January.

So do you have to pay the residuals all in one payment or have it deducted over the term of the lease??

It makes perfect sense. If drivers are banging down the door to do the Schneider choice program, why raise the rates for them?

On a percentage pay program the rates should be going up. The fact that they aren't certainly paints the picture that they are playing games with the numbers.

Schneider national gets their loads from Schneider brokerage Rates going to brokerage might be going up what brokerage is giving them to national might not be going up

Idk. I'm not sure how often they can negotiate contract rates. Contract drop and hook works well and protects you for awhile when the rates take a dive but it appears the opposite is happening now. It cuts both ways. Sni was sure busy slashing rates last year. Not sure how fast they can bring them up now. Lol

    Sure it makes sense....

Schneider keeps HIDING loads from ICs and Schneider logistics keeps a bigger percentage when they sell the loads basically to themselves before putting it on our board.
We are getting screwed all the way around in soo many angles as is why many have left Schneider in recent times, including Schneider's biggest youtube stars as well Jeffery like and Ike Stevens.
