Be prepared the brake job will be twice what it is for drums . Just had a fellow driver drop 2000 last week .When I had drums and shoes on my drives for a grand with labor .

Would there be braking issue with trailer having drum brakes?

I'm not sure the issue you're speaking of . The discs do last longer though . How much longer not exactly sure . They also stop about 30% sooner I've driven with them on a company truck 2014 Volvo automatic . You can definitely notice the difference .

He needed rotors and pads on all three axles is what I figure . Mine was just two axles drums and shoes, steers are still good . It's the opposite of a car . Drives go first . The parts cost just a bit more it seems .
