Haha. If only you saw the inner workings in the office... very micro managed. They were making new positions all the time. Need more bosses!!!

Ahh, another one who thinks we should live to work instead of work to live.
A measly 34 hours at home after being gone for a week IS a joke. It's why I'm a local driver. 5 on, 2 off...unless I want to work a Saturday, which is my choice. -
Many years ago, I worked as an office clerk for an insurance company, a total of 6 years. Working in an office is frequently a very stressful backstabbing environment. When I left the office job, my blood pressure literally came down a good 50+ points.
God bless every American and their families! God bless the U.S.A.!
OTR & LTL - over the mountains - through the woods - coast to coast - sea to shining sea
The OTR & LTL truck drivers of America are positively the driving force of our economy.bzinger Thanks this. -

I didn't mean to imply that Ashley did that. I merely meant that as a general statement.pocketaces Thanks this.

One of the reasons I am tolerating my return to trucking so well is that the modern workplace has become so toxic and hostile.mjd4277, AtticusRoad and MidwestResident Thank this.

I applied at Arcadia years ago and they turned me down ..glad they did now but that don't make Ashley a bad company ..just not for me .
Drive for a meat packing company now with good pay , exellant benefits and never get less than a 48 hour weekend .
What good is money if ya never get time to enjoy it ?loose_leafs and Voyager1968 Thank this. -
Yeah, because isn't like i need to spend time with my kids or anything right?? That 34 is all I need considering half of that 34 is me being sleep...classic_150 and Voyager1968 Thank this.

Cue the "that's trucking. Don't like it, leave" guys.
This is what I'm talking about. Guys go with home weekly, regional positions so they can hopefully spend quality time with their families. A 34 hour weekend is NOT quality time.classic_150, hawkjr and loose_leafs Thank this.
