Well now my antenna light comes on after channel 14. Was working fine yesterday. I wonder if the rain has something to do with it.

Yeah my swr doesn't even move off the far left when I check it on swr setting.
Ok. Yeah I'm gonna try that I'm not too worried about it. I did use the cobras meter.
If I can't get it going I'll get a swr meter. The thing is it was working perfect yesterday and works perfect on the lower channels. I'll also tidy up the coax too and see if that helps so it's isn't tangled behind the radio.
I can hear 19 fine but I don't think I'm transmitting. But on 1 I was transmitting people said I was clear.Last edited: Apr 26, 2017

Here we go ranger 120 channel am/ FM sideband Texas star modulator 600 watt 900 forward total out at max 1200 running two Francis 4 ft wheeler dealers 20 foot each side trimmed to about 19 ft swr 1.2 -1.5
bridge rectifier in ranger costs more than a diode but any way you want you can tap power to CB. other stuff is on an amp kit and two 30 amp high current fuses When i install NO factory used you should see what they use wally world would blush also get some wire hangers and when tip falls out they work use a tee connection same as co phase but if one jumps off you still have one unscrew and screw remaining one too radio kitty power -
GOOD thing i kept reading Do NOT tidy coax in fact lay it across dash as loosely as possible If you think you got troubles now OOOOUUUCH
bundled coax is an if choke of varying capacity and lord it will run you slap nuts Know the science for this stuff Pleaze don't bundle coax kittypower -
You say the needle does not move at all from far left position, did you calibrate first before switching to swr mode?
