Watkins Truckload

I bought a 2009 volvo, 450 cummins, with 389K miles for $47,000.00. $1543 a month for 33 months. It is basically a lease purchase, meaning I can walk away if I choose

 

How is that purchase working out for you as far as days out, home time, funds left over after all bills paid etc. Thinking that might be the way for us to go at this point!

 

I am on a dedicated run 5 days a week home weekends, take home 1764.00

 

Wow, that is really great after all expenses. I can't even imagine us ever having that much from a week of hard work! I appreciate the answer! We might give it it a try yet! It is quite overwhelming taking on the purchase option, as much so as a home purchase, I think!

 

Another good thing about there lease purchase program its a walk away lease so if does not work out you really have nothing to worry about

 

Is anyone out there currently in a lease with Watkins Refrigerated?

What is the pay like for ownerOp? Percentage or mileage rate of what. Do you know? Does the loaded miles come out to anything above $2 mile? Avg...? Maybe $2.25 per ld. mi. ?? Thanks, if you know...appreciate it!
