When I started to drive in the US it was much easier reading permits lol. Having to convert meters to feet(I understand both, however feet is more popular than meters) is a pain. There, it's just English lol.
Why is deli meat in Canada priced per 300 grams?

I learned that in a tanker I could clear 4.6m and 3.9 easily. I wish someone had clued me in before I left the terminal. Would've saved on laundry.....Macneil Thanks this. -
All across the country it's metric.
The first time I ran an oversize load from Edmonton AB to Elliot Lake ON I shat myself at every bridge. Most of the clearance issues were in ontario(whadda feck you gonna hit in SK or MB? Lol.)homeskillet Thanks this. -
Pretty much everything I've seen is metric. I know of one rail bridge over 16 in Alberta that you can still see the height marked in feet in faded paint.
Macneil and homeskillet Thank this. -
16 feet? Thats a low bridge for AB lol.

Is the oven temp control on your kitchen stove marked in degrees F or degrees C? What temp scale do the recipes use?
-
We typically cook in F but measure our outside temperature with C.
The stove measures in F mostly. My mom has a new stove- it is F only. My old one with a dial for the temp it has both just like a speedometer I think. Hard to recall... on the road right now and hardly ever use it when I am home.homeskillet Thanks this. -
People in Canada measure temp in C or F?
Huh! I just say **mn cold, hot or stupid hot here in Ontario lolhomeskillet Thanks this.
