12 do not quit and are not hired a week. That is as untrue as can be. Last week was a class and there were 6 total and that was the first orientation in 3 weeks...

Show your 8 day Qualcomm that shows 700 miles... if there's a chance you maybe got paid for 700... you just came off home time, carried 3000 miles into the next pay period or it's a lie.

If by chance you only got 700 miles you'd be paid 6 days layover...

If you have been out of a truck for a year will they give you time to get back in the groove?

That I would say probably not...

I've been holding on to my truck as they have wanted to get me a new one as I technically have a solo truck and train from time to time. It's a 15 and has never been smoked in as it was gotten new. I'll guarantee it's the cleanest truck in the fleet.
I'm due to get an 18 soon and someone is going to score with this truck.

Oh yea. Our deadlines are not tight on many loads. You'll notice your given tighter deadlines once they know you can run. Instead of the load that takes 4.5 days to go 2100 miles they will give you one that only has 3.5-4 days at it was in the yard an extra couple days.

Dumb question: you said 70/30 auto; is that 70% or 30% auto?

I'd say 70% are auto now.

As a non-smoker I've learned how to clean a smoking truck so you can't tell it ever was hostage to a smoker. Spray and wipe all hard surfaces with Windex or alcohol. Clean inside of all glass with Windex or alcohol. Soak, literally, all soft/cloth surfaces with Fabreeze and let them stay wet. In very dirty cases you may need to do this more than once.

The secret is to clean EVERY surface, don't forget the ceilings, and floors, walls, back of seats, etc.

    Hey all,
Does Danny Herman make everyone get a new physical/med card at orientation? Or if you already have one, they accept the one you have?
    Thanks.

You wouldn't need a new physical if you already have one...I asked my recruiter the same question...If you already have one that is current, you are good to go...
