Just wanted to put out a good word for this school. I graduated 26SEP08, and am happy with the instruction I received. The instructors know their stuff, their equipment is good. (Old Internationals for backing trucks, and late 80's Pete 379's for road trucks)
The instructors are casual, (some times too much, so) but they're good old Kansas boys. Honest and fair.
My only complaint is the housing. They rent out apartments from a low income housing building, and it is pretty substandard. I don't know why they do this, but...
My first apartment had fleas. I moved, the next one had some ####roaches and I got gas asfixiation, so I had to keep the windows open all the time. I would recommend seeing if you could get in a dorm room on campus, or find a motel to cut you a deal for six weeks.
The school is 6 weeks long, and cost roughly $2500 for in-state tuition. Housing is $450 and not worth it at all, though it is liveable if you can do some cleaning when you move in.
The instructors are state certified to give you the backing, PTI, and road test.
