Does anyone know if Schneider has switched over to automatics? Just curious. i know they have been talking about it for a few years. Wondering if they finally pulled the trigger. I personally like autos myself, after driving one just for one week. but to each their own.

Supposedly about 75% of the company fleet is now automatic. Your mileage may vary depending on location though.

Cool. Well I'll be out of the Atlanta OC. Call me weird but I love autos after driving 10 speeds. Especially in traffic. Thanks for the reply/info!

Quit Schneider 2 years ago. Back then they had very few manuals left. All cascadia's were autos and if you wanted a manual tranny they had a couple beat up columbia's left thats it. All new trucks purchased were auto's.

They used to insist upon being called Automatic Transmissions.I believe that still stands.
Then volvo came out of the closet w/the Bi-shift.
Now,the snowflakes say it's improper to use the term Gear Jammer,Floating the stick,Syncro spreader-etc.Lepton1, Bakerman, dngrous_dime and 6 others Thank this.
