I didn't think you needed a traffic report when you are at a truckstop... unless there were 2 swift trucks & 2 Schneider trucks and they were all trying to back in at the same time. As far as the bleed over I can't tell you how many times I've been at Price Chopper in Schnectady NY & heard that cat up there shooting skip to Alabama and you can't hear the guard shack call you to give you a door& the shack is less than 25' feet away from where your parked at..How many times have you heard midnight midnight midnight cowboy at the top of the NJTP.?? The cb radio chatter is part of trucking so you learn to deal with it. Just my two cents from an old school fresh vegetable relocation specialist when supper clubs and air stacking floor loads was the norm... AIN'T NO FEELIN LIKE THAT CHICKEN MOBILIN....GOING TO THE POINT GOOD NEIGHBOR... HOW BOUT A SCOUSH??? RED FRAMING & LEFT LANING... BEATING THE CLOCK IS WHAT IT'S ALL ABOUT SO I MUST LEAVE & I'M BACK OUT...

Kind of hard to give directions to a shipper in Bakersfield to a friend of mine while I'm sitting in Salt Lake City unless I'm on the same channel my friend is on.

It's certainly not insulting to me, unless you forget the cheese.

There only a few of us left that can really take over a truckstop. When we do meet up, especially at places like west memphis, we can converse across town from the pilot down on 78 to the J on 40 and blow out the BBq Man and the cop dope dealer for a few hours, life is good. Watermelon, Tennessee Trash, Shaggy Dog, Dirty Socks, Budweiser, and 12Gauge all come to mind.
