Well..i just had a former ic who got his own authority who was an original choice ic from the beginning state to me that they have running reports on ic's showing where they make great profits at and then use those to put co trucks on those loads..they use the IC's to see where its profitable without having to use any resources so to speak to get those #'s..

    Your absolutely correct.
I noticed with in my first six months they were watching ic' s for lane analysis.

I won't be here much longer either. For several reasons, this being one of them.

Been a screwy few weeks in Packardland.

Suffered my first accident ever in a truck two Mondays ago. Unfortunately, it'll turn out to be a he said/she said deal. Idiot tailgating me through a work zone in TN decides he can't wait another half mile for it to end. Zips out from behind me, gets off the left edge of the pavement, overcorrects, and hits me at about a 45 degree angle square in my drivers side fuel tank. He says I moved into his lane. I know #### well he's a liar, but my dashcam didn't fire off and in the ensuing effort to get parked safely, I neglected to manually save the footage.

I didn't actually see this guy hit me. Happened between scanning my mirrors. I saw him careening into the median after the fact. Turns out a woman says she was driving, and the guy didn't have a valid license, but I couldn't swear to it. He was the only one I saw in the car in the brief look I got.

Anyway, tank didn't leak, trooper didn't really believe this guy but couldn't do anything other than write a report, and I'm waiting for the results. I may enlist a physics professor from the university my wife is employed by to go over the pictures of my damage and see what he thinks. I contend that had this guy been hit by me, his car would have spun clockwise. As it was, he bounced off and headed straight into the median (that part I did see). Just a bunch of BS, but after about 1.7 million miles I guess it was my turn. Just makes the desire to escape eight months from now all the more intense.

I'm taking three weeks off in June, so I'll have it fixed then. Other than that, it hasn't been a bad last few weeks money-wise. Truck hit a quarter-million miles last week, and mechanical issues have been minimal. Had a few air leaks post-accident, but then discovered the exhaust diffuser tip had been lost, causing hot exhaust to be directed right to the air lines around the air dryer and governor. I didn't catch it at first, but neither did the first tech who replaced the air lines!

I'm running the south for a while. Roads have become so poor in the NE, particularly in PA, that I will no longer subject my truck to them. Really pathetic in some places. I'm at home this weekend, but headed to the FL panhandle tomorrow.

    Be safe!

So is his vehicle is damaged in the right front (passenger side) fender area? Maybe that corner of the front bumper too?

Because it was in a work zone with no shoulders on either side, and their vehicle ended up behind the trees out of my view, I couldn't get to their car for pics. The reports in TN are downloaded to a website where they can be viewed later, so no one gets a copy immediately.

No question he hit me at a significant angle. Tank is indented about 18" long with red paint marks, meaning the front of his car went clean through the skirting striking my tank. There's also red paint on the rear edge of my tank. The physics just don't add up in his version of the story.

Eight months from yesterday I'm done with trucking, so I'm just letting it play out and waiting to take the next step.

I'm getting rearward facing mirror mounted cameras in addition to the forward facing that I already have. Running Texas on I20 so much, Ive almost been sideswiped several times by other trucks and almost rear ended several times PER DAY
