Half of American Doctors Give Patients Placebos

It's one thing to do this in a controlled study, but an entirely different matter in this manner.

 

Yeah I agree with you....

I mean really, people go to the Dr. and spend hard earned money to see them and all they get is LIE???

 

one thing to consider are those people who wont leave with out some perscription..

if put in this situation, i would do the same.. some people NEED to feel like they are being proactive, some are just co-dependant on meds..

personally, i only see the doc if i do myself a mischief or if i need something to cull an infection that wont go away..

 

I'm like you Agent. I basically don't go to the doctor unless I'm half dead! I don't like doctors, etc, and I sure don't like having to take meds. Especially some of the newer meds. With some of the side effects of a lot of the newer meds, I'll take the original problem over the side effects any day.
