    Read the small print on those CAT scale tickets. The DOT isn't gonna care if you have it or not. You will get the ticket and CAT will show up in court....
    If you use the 'weight my truck app' you will have an electronic copy emailed to yourself.
    The only reason to have a copy to to show the DOT and hope they just give you a warning instead of a ticket. Also, the ticket has NO CSA points... just a fine.
