    The certified copy isn't going to do much if the scale house you go through shows you over weight. They are still going to give you a ticket if they want regardless. The point of my post was that even if your overweight at the scale house, so long as you are legal on the cat scale, they will still go to court for you.

    Just don't forget to change the trailer number, and enter it correctly [if you've changed trailers since your last app weigh] when you initiate the weigh via the app. That's a sure-fire way to render an otherwise valuable Cat scale ticket, useless if push comes to shove later with an over-gross ticket.

    I agree about changing your trailer # when you switch trailers. call CAT Scale (877-228-7225 x-6) and ask them to do if for you. The help desk can make changes to you account very fast.
