I am looking at a few choices of cell phones with the features listed above.
I watched an ad for a Sprint, simply everything, plan and I wanted more info.
So I found some reviews about this type of phone and there are only a couple (that I know of) that have most of the items listed.
Examples: (Not all have t.v./gps/bluetooth etc..)
Samsung Instinct(Sprint), the Apple Iphone(AT&T) & the Sidekick(TMobile). LG Vu (also At&t) LG Dare (Verizon Wireless) Treo 700p & the Blackberry. Not sure which have all the features listed above.
There are some other phones called EnV2, Voyager & Glyde but I haven't checked them out yet.
some pros & cons

My findings-
Samsung Instinct pros - internet/gps/live t.v./music* comes with an extra battery (I read you'll have an issue opening the case, althought they make it look easy on their website)
con - no wifi (which could be beneficial when picking up a signal is difficult)
Iphone pros - wifi access, looks like it is easier to use.
con - music available for purchase only?
Both are touchscreens
Sidekick & Blackberry pros - QWERTY keyboards
Sometimes there is such a thing as too many choices or too much information! If anyone has it all figured out, please post it here! Even if you've only researched a couple of them & would like to share your info it would be appreciated.
* (with purchase availability or online streaming?)

My wife just bought me the new G1 phone from T-mobile. It's a great portable device similar to the i-phone. You can watch you tube videos, has google maps installed, and a ton of other features. The only thing I'm wondering is if I can use my car charger from my T mobile DASH with this phone. They are both made by HTC but I don't know if it's safe to use it or not. Any help?

I recently bought the Dare by Verizon. It has the 3G internet, mobile web, youtube, google maps, gps, instant weather radar, can be used as a modem for your laptop, and killer digital camera with 3.2 megapixels still & video.

I have the Motto Q from Sprint. I am on the Sprint "Everything" plan for $99 a month.
Here is what I get.
Unlimited domestic calls.
Unlimited Texting.
Unlimited Internet Access via the phone. (Works Great!)
Unlimited Sprint TV. (CNN, FOX, Etc...)
Unlimited Sprint Navigation ( Live Navigation utilizing GPS on a 3D Screen)
Windows Mobile w/Media (Store Music, Video, Etc...)
Great Camera Phone with Sharp Video.
I have it set up where my regular email comes to my phone, along with standard msgs. I use the Nav system extensively. Very smart, and is live, meaning it adjusts the route for traffic in larger areas. I have used it to get to exact points all over LA and NYC with out getting into trouble with major route settings. Now I do not "trust" it. Meaning, I look at the route it selected and verify the legal-safe status with my commercial atlas.
Overall, this thing is amazing. The one thing that I had to do is put a small inverter in the front of the truck and plug into the ac for charging. Mostly because the screen is always on with Nav activated. I use XM, but my brother plays all his music through his phone to his stereo.punkinhed Thanks this. -
Hi Rainman, I have the Dash right now and have contemplated the G1. I'm pretty happy with the Dash, but it lacks 3G speed. If it had it, I don't think I'd look at another phone. What are the pro's and con's of the G1 over the Dash?
thanks, bill
