I4 is as far south as I want to go as well and I live in Fla.

Its gotta pay enough to dead head back up if I go south of I4.

I went to key west once many years ago for a new Walgreens store set up and thought it was pretty cool ...probably different these days .

South Fla makes Larado look like show trucks driven by professionals.

Hand written DOT and company name on cardboard taped to the door. 18 wheels with 14 different mixed tires. Trailer tires mixed with worn steers on the drives, worn recapped drive tires on the trailer. Side boxes held together with ratchet straps and gorilla tape. Fairings flapping in the wind, front end shaking from tires so out of balance, white smoke belching out of the exhaust, doing about 80 mph, driver usually has no shirt on because the AC doesnt work. I'm sure you get the idea.

Make my truck look like a queen.

I agree with everything that was posted about south Florida..

I ran LTL reefer from the northeast down to Florida for years where my last drops were usually in Miami.....Its another whole world down there for sure.

I wish I was making that up.

There are places down there where you go into a McDonalds,.. ask for a #1 and the girl is like "Como"? Me: I need a numero uno. "Como? No Hablo englese" Me: Ok,.. your lucky I am hungry. Necesito un numero 1. "Ah,.. Ce" "Va a cenar en ot fuera?" Me: Um,.. wutt? (Sigh)

Needless to say, this only applies to the male drivers, not the female drivers.

God bless every American and their families! God bless the U.S.A.!

OTR & LTL - over the mountains - through the woods - coast to coast - sea to shining sea

The OTR & LTL truck drivers of America are positively the driving force of our economy.
