Primary Liabilty & Cargo Insurance Recommendation?

It's all true but ....WOW! I forgot I typed that. I must have spent some time with Jack Daniels that day. LOL!

 

Just got insurance for a new authority with Progressive, paid in full for the year, less than $8,500.yr. I had got quotes with Classic Truck, Jim Lynch, OOIDA, and NITIC... Average between $10,500 to $15,000 yr. OOIDA told me that Landstar and about 23 others would not accept their insurance.

 

That include physical damage? What year is your truck? What state do you live in? How many years have you been driving? What type of coverages did you get as well?

All of those questions make a huge difference in price.

 

Lately I've been seeing on the load boards brokers saying no progressive insurance

 

I'll be honest I work the load boards and I have yet to see any Broker list this or turn away my company for that reason .

 

Just curious,
Does anyone know the definitive reason why customers/ brokers frown on progressive.

 

All the brokerages I have worked with have all been ok with Progressive. Please list a brokerage turning away carriers because of Progressive.
