    Sold me mine with zero down. They told me it was actually easier because the banks seen them as less risk that the new emissions trucks.

    If this isn't the last straw, it's really close to it.

    After going for a week without a qualcomm, My ICR makes a phone call and it is magically active and working when I leave the shipper 30 minutes later. Amazing how that works.

    It worked for two days......

    Stopped connecting to any signal, and began shutting on and off constantly until it finally just locked down.

    Call IT again, they put in a work order, note the multiple recent repairs, and recommend replacing everything.

    2 drop and hooks and 700+ miles today to get to Gary. Unit boots up, has signal, and they refuse to work on it. Leaving here in the morning with the same unit, and logs showing me severely out of hours because the elog shows I have been driving for 38 hours straight, LOL. Just leaving it that way and continuing on paper logs.

    The guy simply didn't want to work on the unit. Even told me he would have to drill all new holes in the truck if he replaced the harness. Things got heated from there, I'm expecting a phone call from HR probably after the holiday.....

    Oh, but if it happens to mess up when I'm driving by an OC, I should stop in and have them work on it right then.

    Why haven't you just called Qualcom directly and have them remote trouble shot it?

    I feel your pain. More likely than not all they have to do is replace the black box. The IT department cannot seem to comprehend why the refurbished boxes keep going bad. They sent a memo to Charlotte last year to not change out any boxes without their authorization. Last time it happened to me it shut down while driving. When I finally got around to calling the next day on my 10 hour break it was showing them I had been driving for 22 hours and was told to stop immediately and to call back when stopped.lol. This is what your dealing with.smh

    It's definitely not that. They have been replacing that repeatedly since February. I think it is the antenna, or the wires going to it.

    I called IT back tonight to have them pull my completed work assignments off the qualcomm, and made the comment about turning the truck in to the shop and them refusing to do the work. IT is specifically requesting all components be replaced due to the inability to fix the problem. They said they were going to follow up on this to find out why the shop is refusing to do the work, so I took the liberty of giving them the mechanic's name.
