Buddy of mine hauls glass out of Menomonie to Owatonna. One load a day for the great pumpkin

 

And I complain when I have a 1200-2k dead head every other load lol

 

Yea that's Viracon right? I remember that SNI was just starting to pick up that account when I worked for Maverick in 2013. I was a bit surprised the first time I saw a blue SNI truck pulling a Viracon conestoga in Owatonna.

 

I just got done driving almost 4K deadhead over the past 2 weeks for a load that didn't happen. Customer is getting charged for it. Gonna find out Monday what I'm getting paid for it.

 

Mine was Viracon. I hate that ####hole. Cheap freight and treat drivers like ####.

 

Right, you just described every glass plant I ever went in. Carlisle, PA at Guardian glass was 2nd after Laurinburg, NC for being a pain in the ###.

I delivered to Owatonna many times from Laurinburg. They gave me that a lot because it got me close enough to home to let me DH the rest of the way.

I hated tarping these if the crane was busy. That tarp is stupid heavy to drag across the top by hand.

This type of trailer is also what led to me being fired by Maverick. I picked up a loaded trailer like this in Wichita Falls, TX. It was an old SNI trailer from when Maverick bought them all. Still had the original SNI tarp on it. Parked in Little Rock HQ for the night. VP came in for the morning and saw it and was mad I had the SNI tarp on there. Wasn't happy when I didn't really care since I can't change that tarp out myself.
