$20 Unlimited Stand-Alone LTE Hotspot through AT&T

Ohh well excuse me. It was just a thought and I hope this works! I spend $60 a month for loves & PilotFlyin J wifi and it suxs half the time. If this works I'll park anywhere.....

Really!? It shouldn't be long, I got mine in 1 day of ordering. Hopefully my 12v comes tomorrow cause I'm heading back out on Tues night. Guess I got mine at the right time. They are China made so could be a couple days

 

Glad I checked when I did and got mine on order with AT&T. It's supposed to arrive tomorrow, although I won't be home for a few weeks yet.

If anybody knows the answer... I've heard conflicting information on the topic of "activation". This may be due to people obtaining the Mobley through different sources? At any rate, I'm asking below in the context of ordering directly from AT&T for shipment to my home.

One item I read said:
A) the device arrives with a SIM card, but that when you start the process of activation, AT&T needs to send you a new one.

I've also heard a different version that:

B) you need to go into a local AT&T store for them to activate and possibly set up a SIM card.

I've also heard that you don't need to do A) or B) above; the device comes either

C) already activated.
-or-
D) activation can be completed at home with everything you've been sent.

So which is it? A, B, C, or D?

I'm really hoping the answer is not A), due to hometime limitations.

 

If it comes with the SIM, you won't need to do anything except call them up to activate.

 

Just got the 12v adapter and got the Mobley activated. Sat in the car for a few to get it connected and change the settings. At 1st it wasn't working because I didn't put the sim card back in right. You'll need to pop that out to activate it. Glad I got everything before I head back out! Thanks for posting about this!! Now I can enjoy mom and pop truck stops and rest areas. Also making the long wait times at shippers/receivers more enjoyable. No more sh $#ty loves,peelot,flyingJ,Petro,TA rip-off wifi!!! So long WonderingWifi.
