    A Newbie to CB RADIO AND A N4 IMAGINE THAT. AND THAT RADIO HAS TO BE CONNECTED TO A BATTERY DOWN BELOW WITH AT LEAST 8GA. WIRE MORE LIKE 4GA.

    Another option for cheap would be to get a peaked cobra 29 and astatic mic.
    I've been running mine for a decade now...
    Just find a reputable shop that doesn't hack the radio.
