Hello everyone and good luck to all of us on the road!
first, to o/o do not use this company they will charge you out the --- for jobs that can be found easily
online by yourself they are just a middle man to artir and will charge you to cover both companies.

Next, company drivers they will hire anyone for .24 a mile or lower one guy i met there real nice dude was getting paid .20cents...all drivers only on teams with split mileage thats .10 a mile or lower and then they add some thing they call insurance fee of 100 a week for 15 weeks which you dont get back no matter what they say...
    add that up

drive 3500 one way in 5 days x .12 then sit in a broke d--- truck for a week they run old trucks in ca.. reg in oregon.... for a total of 200.00 = 2weeks it's possible for xperienced drivers to make more some in the 30-36 range but only with trainees and split miles now imagine you got xp guys with bad records teaching kids who dont know squat in a old broke d--- truck..... good luck with that did i mention their trucks are illegal reg good luck with that in 2015-2016

Man, if that's true then that sucks but......there's a reason a guy is driving for $.10 a mile. Not saying it's right but there's a reason. I can't believe there are drivers driving for anything under $.40 a mile.

When I started driving at the beginning of this most recent recession, I think I would have PAID $.10 a mile to get a company to take me on for a few months and get some experience. As it was, I got a job that involved overlooking just about every rule that applies to the industry, right down to inter-stating (Canadian companies that pick up and deliver in the USA) until I had enough know-how to make a change to a better company.

I could be wrong, but I've never even heard of a Canadian company that owns or runs a school like I've read about SWIFT, CR England, Covenant and some of the mega carriers down south. I don't know anyone who went to school who was "head hunted" by companies wanting to hire new drivers, and I know a handful who did a great job as interns only to be told to apply back in 2, 3, or 5 years if they want a job.

It's tough out there for the new guys and I imagine it is also tough for folks with criminal pasts, failed drug tests, preventable accidents or anything negative (true or not) your last company says. This is one of the most unforgiving industries I'm aware of, even a doctor sued for malpractice has a way to earn back their license, be re-certified and cleared to practice medicine again.

To to imply that people are crazy for working for less than a certain amount definitely over simplifies the struggle for some people just to get their foot in the door.

...ok I agree its diff to start trucking it does take a skill... i wouldnt compare it to a dr. but some people do stay in truck school for a while hahaha i started talking to that new driver after reading your posts he said for 3 weeks of work was only paid 100.00..I got a job hauling rock 14.00 hr + weekly safety bonus go home everynight n with dbls @ least a new driver doesnt have to worry too much about backing.. thats the truth all most people need is the right job for them ....of course my entire time @ RVS express I never met 1 person who lasted longer than 3mo even thier trainer drivers

This company is horrible! I cannot even express how rude they are and how they speak to their drivers. Do not work for or with this company!
