I have researched and cant get a exact answer so I thought I would ask here. We haul in the lower 48 states. What are the states that we have to apply for a separate licence to haul in those states other than IFTA. I would appreciate any advice from the pros here.

Yes, this is what I am talking about. We only haul calls primarily and we are running 5500s right now with wedge trailers. I just want to make sure I am good in all states we travel. Would hate to get parked because I didnt know there was another permit I had to get. Thanks

And yes, you need a KYU number for kentucky. I think that only applies if you are over 55k. When I did everything with the state this year, they said I didnt need one

Sorry to barge in; I have a related question. Are there any special state permits for passengers carriers?
